Dr Bronwyn Labrum (Head of Pacific and New Zealand Cultures at Te Papa), will be taking about their latest book she edited - Women Now: The Legacy of Female Suffrage.
Bronwyn will then lead a discussion with a panel around the history of New Zealand's suffragists and the progress of women's right over the last 125 years. Panelists include:
- Hon Dr Megan Woods MP (another historian),
- Dame Hon Annette King,
- Dr Charlotte MacDonald (another historian & Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand Te Aparangi)
These women are all engaging speakers so expect fun, learning new things, enjoying good stories, and a lot of laughter - as well as a tasty brunch!
